①You don’t need a reservation.  Just wait in the line at the bus station.

② Take a small tip of paper getting out of the box next to the stairs. 

  (This is what to tell where you got on. You don’t need one when you get on at the starting station)

③Have a seat and fasten the seatbelt.

④A few minutes before the bus arrives at the next stop, the name of the bus stop will be announced (in Japanese only).  If you hear “Chiyoda”, press the button on the ceiling.

⑤ After the bus stopped, leave the seat and walk up to the front door.  See the list of charges above and throw the appropriate fare and the slip you took at ③ into the fare-box next to the driver.

*if you need to change, feed a 1,000 yen bill to the machine. Also you can change 500yen coin to 100yen coins and 100yen to 10yen coins. 

If you have only 5,000 or 10,000 yen bills, ask the driver if he can change it to 1,000 yen bill.

*If you own a PASPY card, you only need to touch twice – when you get on and get off the bus- and travel to Chiyoda!

To charge....Use a charge machine at Bus Center. Otherwise just say “CHARGE” to the driver and put PASPY on the card reader. Then feed money just like when you make changes.

To get a PASPY...Ask the driver if he has a PASPY card. Pay 2,000 yen (including 500 yen deposit-so you can use 1,500 yen to pay fares) and you are a PASPY owner!

*You can also charge 10 other traffic cards as same as PASPY on the bus, but some machines at bus stops are not available.
