Ko-ori Yakushi

“ko-ori” indicates a local government.

 

Around Ko-ori, Kitahiroshima-cho there was the central government of Yamagata-gun(district) from Nara era to Heian era (8th-12th century).

 

 

 

 12 old precious Buddhist images are enshrined in the abolished Fukko-ji temple. They are designated as National Important Cultural Properties.

Open  9:00 - 16:30    closed on Mondays (Tuesday if Monday is holiday, from December 28th to January 4th)
